A long time ago I was talking to a program director in NY and I asked her what makes a song a #1. She said don’t try to write a #1 song, just
write from your heart. And what comes from the heart, reaches the heart.
So my prayer for this song was never that it would impact charts, but that it would impact hearts. And that it would remind everyone that hears it, that we all have a reason to be “Thankful”…
